The Pelvic Pain Society

United States

The International Pelvic Pain Society was founded with a conviction and vision for dramatically improving the quality of life for men and women around the world. Patients with Chronic Pelvic Pain are being misdiagnosed, having unnecessary surgeries, and facing prejudice as "drug seekers" or "mental cases". Many of these patients are being told they should seek psychological help, and many live in frustration and hopelessness. Overall, the medical community is not educated to give hope and relief to these patients.
