Kelly Conway and Steve Nickels formed the Casualty Care First Aid Company in 1992. The vision of the company is to provide excellence in teaching CPR First Aid and WHMIS using Instructors who work in emergency services in order that they could pass along their reality based experiences to their students.

Flatwoods Volunteer Fire Department : Flatwoods Fire Department responded to the scene of an accident with injuries in the intersection of Bellefonte Road at Todd Street, approximately 13:00. Upon arrival patients were in the care of Greenup EMS. Cleanup was performed on the roadway of glass and other debris.
Fern Creek Fire Department : The Department responds to medical emergencies with Louisville Metro EMS. Currently this team is staffed primarily with firefighters. However, the Department has memberships available for those who do not want to be firefighters, but are willing to help their community by responding to medical emergencies. These members require an EMT certification or higher.

Dry Ridge Fire Department : The Dry Ridge Fire Department is a combination volunteer, and career personnel. The DRFD is located at 31 Broadway and is the hub for personnel and administrative duties. The full time Emergency Care 1 crew staffs this station 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
