Our mission is to provide the highest quality care for patients requiring secondary medical transfer. Whenever possible, senior medical staff liaise directly with the referring medical team to check all medical details. We understand that Time is Life and we provide the best possible caring services in a prompt and professional manner.

Medical staff

All doctors are BLS ALS certified specialists with post-graduate qualifications. In most cases the doctor will be an anaesthetist/intensivists with at least 3 years full time experience in this field. We believe that anaesthetists/intensivists have the unique skills required to manage any in-flight eventuality and they are the most appropriate specialist for intensive care transfers. Also we have on our team neurosurgeons, neurophysicians, orthopedics, paediatricians and physicians on panel for medical transfers.

Nursing staff

Our staff nurses are at least 3 years post-basic degree and will possess a higher nursing qualification. All are trained in advance life support (ALS). We consider it is important to match the skills of the nurse to the requirements of the transfer and we select our nursing staff for each trip accordingly. All nurses have undergone instruction concerning the demands of the aircraft environment. They are trained in aviation physiology.
